Job Description Smartkarma is hiring a Sales Manager to join its Business Development team, with primary responsibility for expanding Smartkarma’s footprint across the Private Wealth ecosystem. This role is designed for a commercially driven sales professional who has developed strong fundamentals under senior sales leadership and is now ready to take ownership, build a meaningful book of business, and establish a market presence. Key Responsibilities Revenue Ownership and Client Development Own and deliver an individual annual sales target focused on the Private Wealth segment. Build, manage, and expand relationships with: Private banks Wealth managers and family offices CIO offices, advisory teams, and investment research functions Wealth platforms and wealthtech firms Drive new client acquisition and expand existing relationships across research, data, platform subscriptions, and API-based solutions. Sales Execution Run the full sales cycle independently, from prospecting and discovery through commercial negotiation and close. Position Smartkarma’s research, data, and API offerings in alignment with client workflows, advisor use cases, and regulatory constraints. Articulate how Smartkarma enables clients to differentiate their end-client offering through institutional-quality content.
