The Role

We are seeking an experienced and technically skilled Senior Technician – Maintenance to lead maintenance activities, coordinate equipment servicing, and help ensure reliable day-to-day operations across our facilities and technical environments.

This is an excellent opportunity for a maintenance, facilities, engineering, or technical services professional looking to take on a broader technical role in an international and fully remote working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and building systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and technical issues.
• Work closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Facilities Operations, Technical Services, Safety, and Operations teams.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules and equipment servicing activities.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend maintenance improvements.
• Maintain maintenance records, service reports, and technical documentation.
• Support inspections and routine equipment checks.
• Coordinate with contractors and service providers where required.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintenance standards.
• Help resolve technical breakdowns and operational issues.
• Support spare parts planning and inventory coordination.
• Promote reliability and continuous improvement across maintenance operations.
• Assist with technical projects and equipment upgrades.
• Mentor junior technicians where required.
• Stay informed about maintenance technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Diploma or certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in maintenance, facilities management, engineering, or a related technical role.
• Good understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good organizational and communication abilities.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Experience with CMMS, maintenance management systems, or Microsoft Office is an advantage.
• Familiarity with HVAC, electrical systems, mechanical equipment, plumbing, or building services is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with international teams.
• UAE or GCC maintenance experience is an advantage but not required.
• Relevant technical licenses or maintenance certifications are welcome but not mandatory.
