The Integrated Weapons Experiments (J) Division, Nevada Operations (J-NV) Group is looking for an engineer to support multiple programs involving the design, fielding, and execution of dynamic experiments with high quality requirements. This will include the generation of requirements with stakeholder input, maintaining configuration, document, and records management, as well as delivering data as defined by the requirements. This position will work closely with multiple LANL organizations to ensure the high level of rigor and quality required by these programs, and support J-NV’s mission deliverables by guiding teams in the field.
The position will be physically located in Nevada at the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) and will directly support a Weapon Surveillance program and the Subcritical Experiment (SCE) program. This position will require occasional travel and requires the candidate to obtain and maintain a Q-clearance as well as mandatory participation in LANL’s Human Reliability Program (HRP) certification.
