Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Cloud Engineer - 3rd Shift to support our consulting client on a long term project providing multiple government agencies with their #1 product. This role will be mostly remote, however the candidate will need to be able to be present in Chantilly, VA when and if needed. If you are sharp with AWS cloud environments, building infrastructure, and Linux Administration, apply today!

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience with system administration of RPM-based Linux distributions (Amazon Linux, RHEL, CentOS, etc.)
  • Automation experience with AWS cloud services (VPC, EC2, S3, CloudFormation, etc)
  • Experience with fully automated infrastructure, system, and application deployment with technologies like CloudFormation or Terraform
  • Experience with shell scripting
  • Experience with government and industry security standards (CIS, STIG, or NIST 800-53) and remediating issues identified during security audits
  • Experience with version control and CI/CD pipeline tools
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance
