Nix Engineering Group is a family run and operated business, looking for Mechanical Fitter/ Machinist to join our growing team.
We are a multi-disciplinary company with workshop and site field works in Perth and the WA sector, including structural/mechanical projects and custom works.
Being a Teir 1 and 2 company for the Water Corporation for near on 40 years, we have built a long standing relationship with Perth’s leading civil companies, to assist in the specialised field of the MSCL pipe and mechanical assembly, from Greenfields to major infrastructure projects.

The right person will be able to demonstrate the below skills and competency’s;

• In-house or Trade qualifications and minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar environment.
• Ability to work cooperatively within a multi disciplined team.
• Provide leadership and supervision for Non- trades staff on site.
• Experience with assembly of structural, piping and general mechanical assemblies.
• Ability and willingness to work at various sites within WA for various lengths of time.
• Ability to work to job schedules and liaise with supervisors / Inspectors to ensure work is completed in a timely manner to the nominated standards
• Construction White Card
• EWP, Rigging/Dogging, Work at Height/Confined Space competencies are desirable
• High Level competency in reading and comprehension of assembly drawings
• Sound written and oral communication skills.
• Current WA Drivers License.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $76,515.00 – $78,000.00 per year
