Job Description As the Assistant Night Manager at Pullman Sydney Olympic Park, you will play an important role in ensuring the hotel's seamless overnight operation, providing leadership to the Night Audit team, and maintaining exceptional guest service standards in the absence of the Night Manager. You will oversee the night audit and reporting process, respond to guest requests and incidents with professionalism and care, and ensure the safety, security, and comfort of both guests and team members throughout the night. This role is perfect for an experienced Night Auditor or Front Office professional ready to take the next step in their career, bringing confidence, accountability, and a calm approach to every challenge. What you’ll be doing: Hold responsibility and accountability for the efficient operation of the Hotel while the Night Manager is not on duty. Cross-check and balance work completed during the day for all outlets on a shift. Prepare reports reflecting the property's trading results on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Take and prepare room service orders. Effectively handle guest complaints. Ensure house security, including fire prevention and protection, health, safety and staff checks, detection of breaches of security and the laws by which the company is governed. Maintain responsibility for the Night Audit team's overall auditing and administrative functions. Responsible for all other departments in the absence of their respective managers for the duration of the night time operation. Be available at all times for guest queries. Ensure the Hotel operates efficiently and in accordance with Hotel policy. Participate in workplace consultation on WHS matters. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will be: Adaptable to all tasks and enjoy a variety in your workload, such as reception and concierge duties, financial reporting, room service, cleaning and maintenance responsibilities. Holding a RSA competency card. Holding an Australian Driver’s Licence, manual driving skills preferred (but not essential). Holding a valid CPR certificate Opera Cloud experience is essential Able to work night shifts (11.00 pm – 07:30 am) across a rotating roster, including weekend work and public holidays.
