Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Assistant Professor, Surgical Tech.
Pay: $70,000 per year
Location: Tempe, AZ

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Possess Healthcare Provider and Basic Instructor Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
  • AA Degree required.
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
  • Minimum of 3 years clinical experience.
  • All instructors who outline the acquisition of a degree or diploma must have graduated from schools accredited by agencies recognized by the US Department of Education.
  • Requires excellent communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and effective interaction across all operational areas must be maintained.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • Ability to react quickly
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.

  • Educate and provide technological and academic training to surgical technology students.
  • Design and implement lesson plans that accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
  • Evaluate student performance using various assessment methods.
  • Provide ongoing student advisement and academic counseling.
  • Identify and support “at risk” students, referring them to appropriate campus resources.
  • Participate in academic committees to enrich programs and student life.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards
  • Collaborate effectively with all campus departmental staff.
  • Maintain a safe and effective learning environment in the classroom and lab settings.
