Job Description The Spa Director at Chateau Lake Louise is responsible for leading all aspects of the spa’s daily operations while upholding Fairmont’s standards of luxury, wellness, and service excellence. This role ensures the delivery of exceptional guest experiences through effective team leadership, financial management, and strategic partnerships within the spa and wellness industry. Start Date: December 2025 Contract Type: Permanent Job Duties Include: Oversee all aspects of spa operations, including strategic planning, budgeting, and performance management. Lead team members to achieve operational excellence and guest satisfaction. Develop and implement ongoing training programs to enhance technical skills, product knowledge, and service delivery. Build and maintain relationships with industry partners to grow business opportunities. Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards. Monitor financial performance, control expenses, and manage payroll, budgeting, and monthly reporting. Oversee recruitment, training, performance management, and professional development for the team. Monitor payroll, scheduling, and labor costs to ensure optimal efficiency and alignment with business volumes. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Public Relations to develop promotions, partnerships, and special events. Stay informed of spa and wellness trends to ensure offerings remain relevant and competitive. Establish and ensure execution of all departmental goals. Meet with group meeting planners to show spa facility and programs. Promote and sell customized spa programs to conference groups. Tour prospective spa clients. Maintain thorough knowledge of competitors, including location, product offering, pricing, and promotions, including sales techniques. Review purchase requisitions and expenditures to ensure they are in keeping within a zero based operating expense budget. Perform other related duties as required to support the success of the spa and hotel. Qualifications Your qualifications and experience includes: Minimum 3 years of spa management experience, preferably within a luxury hotel or resort environment. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration an asset. Proven leadership, team development, and performance management skills. Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, payroll, and scheduling. In-depth knowledge of spa treatments, products, and wellness trends. Proficiency in spa software (e.g. Book4Time) and Microsoft Office Suite.
