REQUIREMENTS

• Must have at least 2 years of recent experience as a viennoiserie/ French-style pastry chef
• Must be able to skillfully create croissants, lamination, puff pastry, cakes, & bars
• Must be flexible to work at least one weekend day per week
• Ability to quickly & reliably commute to Little Chalfont
• Must reside in the UK able to legally work without the need for Sponsorship
• Must be comfortable working in a small, fast-paced production environment
• Must Speak English very well

ROLE SUMMARY

Our client, a thriving family-run bakery in Little Chalfont, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join their team. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment where you’ll produce high-quality viennoiserie/French pastries, croissants, & puff pastry, ensuring fresh products are supplied to multiple branches. You’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive team, contributing to the day-to-day operations of the bakery.

DUTIES

• Expertly craft French style pastries, including croissant lamination and puff pastry.
• Produce high-quality cakes, bars, and other baked goods with precision and consistency.
• Support the team in meeting daily production targets.
• Assist with packing products for delivery to other branches.
• Help with receiving and checking deliveries to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Maintain high standards of product quality and presentation.
• Adhere to hygiene and food safety standards.
