Job Description: Working to the Senior Manager, Operations, support the coordination of day-to-day site security operations across Air’s UK and International estates, through enabling a team of Site Security Managers/Security Controllers to deliver consistent and effective security operations to keep Air compliant, secure and operationally viable. Core duties: Support the implementation of security strategies, policies and processes to drive coordination and collaboration across all of Air’s UK estate in line with security strategy and direct the implementation of security responsibilities. Act as an SME, by contributing to and advising on ensuring secure operations across Air sites. conduct risk assessment of security measures and operations to protect the business’ people and critical assets and provide timely advice on their area to enable well informed business decisions. Contribute to ensuring security compliance and an assurance framework for the assigned workstream(s). support business continuity and crises management planning and testing. Maintain and support a network of key internal stakeholders where relevant and with key functions and business representatives. Support the Senior Manager Operations to develop the security culture by raising security awareness among employees and management and role modelling the BAE values and desired behaviours. Essential Skills: You will be a security SME with experience from either military, defence industry, national security settings Job holder works within defined processes and procedures but will need to exercise judgment to determine what solution to a problem is appropriate. The job holder will draw upon past experience and practice to decide what solution is the most appropriate. Good influencing skills and experience in interacting and communicating with different management levels To have a proactive approach to solving problems, working with the wider team to develop solutions.
