POSITION SUMMARY:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Lead Analyst, Solutions Development (HCM Applications).
In this role, the successful Lead is a seasoned HCM functional analyst/professional providing advanced expertise in a complex professional discipline; mentors less-experienced staff with responsibility for their technical/analytical development. PeopleSoft Payroll expertise, as well as good requirements documentation is a must for this role. The position will operate around 70% functional and 30% technical. This position serves as the Corporate Systems representative to support Corporate Systems automation as well as the functional and technical expert to support the PeopleSoft Human Resource user community. The position will work with developers and corporate business process owners to collect user requirements and translate them into well engineered, tested, and deployed business application systems. This individual is the conduit between the customer community and the software development team through which requirements flow. They will develop requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

To qualify you must have a Bachelor’s Degree in information systems, computer science, engineering. Requires 7 or more years of relevant experience in PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 applications. Strong experience in systems design, testing, deployment and support of PeopleSoft HCM applications including Core HR, Employee and Manager Self Service, Base Benefits, Benefit Administration, North America Payroll, Commitment Accounting. Experience with Interaction Hub, CRM HR HelpDesk, Learning Management, Performance/Goal Management a plus.
Strong understanding of the tables and data structure used by PeopleSoft HCM modules as well as experience in PeopleSoft Query, SQL and other user reporting tools.
Advanced Verbal and Writing skills
Knowledge of Analytical Practices
Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in an academic medical center.
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues using tracing, SQL, Application Designer, and PeopleSoft tables
Can modify SQR and Application Engine Programs
Experience with PeopleTools and Integrations
Experience in an academic medical center.
Experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $180,000-$180,000 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. • Design and develop IT systems in HCM landscape
• Analyze business requirements and design technical solutions
• Estimate project efforts, defining testing approaches, and establish timelines
• Create & maintain functional and technical documentation of all enhancements, configuration changes, & bug fixes
• Make sure production migrations including production bug fixes have required functional/technical documentation, test scripts and are thoroughly tested
• Provides technical support for system upgrades, patches, fixes, troubleshooting, and data manipulation/correction scripts.
