We are looking for a full-time Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our Edmonton-based Marketing team. The successful candidate will be expected to do the following:

• Developing compelling technical content for brochures, flyers, websites, marketing campaigns, advertisements, case studies, blogs, and internal communications.
• Crafting engaging and informative technical content for social media and email marketing.
• Developing strategies and concepts for campaigns, product launches, and corporate and brand initiatives.
• Assisting in the design and publication of visual assets for marketing materials and content.
• Planning and managing content calendars to ensure organized, consistent messaging and timely execution.
• Conducting internal and external research to identify market trends, opportunities, and audience needs.
• Supporting the coordination and organization of tradeshows and corporate events, including pre-event, on-site, and post-event activities.
• Supporting daily marketing activities.

General

• Assist other departments as required
• Participate in worksite hazard assessments, incident investigations, safety meetings, safety training, and other aspects of the Hi-Tech Seals safety and quality control programs as required
• Work as a contributing team member, establish fair working relations and maintain a positive and professional attitude when dealing with internal and external stakeholders
• Other duties as requested/directed

Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and characteristics:

• Post-secondary diploma in Marketing or related field required
• Degree in Marketing or related field would be an asset
• At least 2 years of Marketing experience is required
• Sound analytical thinker, decision making and problem-solving skills
• Strong and confident interpersonal and communication skills
• Efficient time management skills
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment where teamwork is essential
• Able to work cooperatively in a team environment
• Adaptable and able to manage varying workload demands.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficient with digital marketing tools
• Experience with Adobe design assets is an asset but not required
• Excellent organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52,000.00 per year
