Support Worker – Gold Coast, QLD (travel time may range from 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on your location)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM (afternoon shifts)

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Support Worker to provide person-centred support to a child living with complex needs in the Gold Coast region.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact. The role involves weekday afternoon shifts supporting a young NDIS participant with daily routines, community access, and structured activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care in line with NDIS Practice Standards
• Support with daily routines and structured activities
• Promote independence and social engagement
• Implement communication and behavioural support strategies
• Ensure safety, wellbeing, and duty of care at all times

What We’re Looking For

We are prioritising applicants who have:

• Extensive experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and complex needs
• Strong skills in providing person-centred, compassionate support
• Ability to commit to consistent weekday shifts (Mon–Fri, afternoons)
• Willingness and ability to travel to the Gold Coast (30–60 minutes depending on your location)

Mandatory Requirements

To be considered, you must hold:

• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card)
• NDIS Orientation Module Certificate
• Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
• First Aid & CPR Certificate (valid)
• Relevant qualifications (Certificate III or higher in Disability, Individual Support, Community Services or equivalent)
• Valid Police Check/Clearance (current)
• Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
• COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
• Valid Work Rights
