In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all equipment operates efficiently through preventive and on-demand maintenance, while documenting all repairs. Position Highlights: Schedule: Monday to Friday, with a compensated rotating "on-call" schedule for emergency repairs during nights and weekends. Perform basic mechanical tasks, such as changing bearings and belts. Review, recommend, and implement improvements to operational maintenance processes and procedures. Conduct daily physical inspections of all equipment, issue work orders, and perform necessary repairs. Maintain a daily log of work performed, including start and end times. Troubleshoot repairs and determine the best corrective actions. Track maintenance costs and labor time for repairs. Monitor total downtime hours for equipment due to maintenance issues. Ensure all equipment is properly greased and filters are changed as needed. Handle rebuilds as required. Follow company policies and procedures, promoting safety in the workplace. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related field strongly preferred. Minimum 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or processing environment. Proven experience with automated manufacturing systems, PLCs, robotics, and industrial control systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and equipment drawings. Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools, hand and power tools, and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Availability to work nights, and weekends, and participate in a rotating on-call schedule as required. Demonstrated proficiency in basic math for inventory and maintenance reporting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams.
