THE ROLE We are seeking a highly experienced accounting professional to join our team in a senior capacity within a US multinational corporation. This role will report directly to the Senior Director and play a critical part in driving accounting excellence, ensuring compliance, and supporting complex business programs through strong technical accounting expertise. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and oversee accounting activities to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, with strong emphasis on US GAAP. Review and interpret complex contracts and business arrangements, translating them into appropriate accounting treatments. Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., legal, operations, commercial) to operationalize accounting requirements for new and existing programs. Provide technical accounting guidance and support for non-routine, complex transactions. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, including month-end and quarter-end close processes. Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes, controls, and documentation. Support audits (internal and external), including preparation of technical accounting memos and documentation. Assess accounting implications of new business initiatives, contracts, and revenue models. Mentor and guide junior team members where applicable. PREFERRED EXPEREINCE: 8–12+ years of relevant experience, including Big 4 audit or advisory experience (mandatory). Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with accounting standard (experience with US GAAP is a plus). Proven experience in analyzing and accounting for complex contracts (e.g., revenue recognition, multi-element arrangements, long-term agreements). Demonstrated ability to apply accounting knowledge to real business operations and programs. Experience working in a multinational corporation (MNC) environment. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior stakeholders.
