The Director, Global Payroll Accounting is responsible for overseeing all accounting activities related to payroll and other HR-related general ledger accounts. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and effective integration between payroll operations, payroll tax, People, and Finance. The Director will lead the accounting processes supporting payroll for a large and complex workforce, ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS, regulatory requirements, and company accounting policies. The role will manage the payroll accounting close process, oversee balance sheet reconciliations, and ensure that payroll expenses, accruals, and liabilities are recorded accurately and timely across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions. This leader will also play a key role in process transformation, automation, and system integration between HRIS, payroll platforms, and the financial systems landscape.
