About the role: As an Associate in Payments (L1), you support the daily operations of the Payments Operations Unit by processing client payments with accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Review and respond to assigned emails in the shared mailbox, assigning the appropriate status and ensuring completion under supervision. Manage an overview of all payment instructions, prioritising tasks by urgency. Log initial payment instructions into the platform, ensuring supporting documents are included and prioritising per urgency using the Standard Catalog. Process payment instructions under supervision in the relevant banking environment. Monitor cash flow levels to confirm availability of funds for scheduled payments. Monitor payment processing systems to identify any changes in vendor data or payment methods, ensuring records stay current. Identify potential risks related to payment processing and recommend mitigation strategies. Propose process improvements for payment workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce processing times. Bachelor/Master degree in Business Administration and Management, Economics or equivalent. 0-1 of professional experience in finance and accounting.
