Provides leadership to and manages all FH programs and staff in the Philippines. Within the framework of the FH Heartbeat values, mindsets and behavior, develops and is responsible for delivering on plans that contribute to the realization of the Golden Circle such that those we serve have the agency and resources necessary to be resilient and flourish.   The qualified CD will have 15 years of experience in relief and development or relevant industry with minimum of 5 years of experience as a senior level manager overseeing complex, multi-sector relief and development program in the Philippines; experience in managing intercultural team. Additionally, the top candidate will have a master’s degree in international relief & development (highly preferred) or bachelor’s degree with 20 years of working experience and 7 years of working experience as a senior level manager or equivalent combination of education & experience, and: * A vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ, a Christian commitment to serving the poor, and in full agreement with FH’s Christian beliefs * Proven experience leading humanitarian and emergency response initiatives, particularly in the Philippines. Deep understanding of local disaster risk reduction frameworks, community resilience, and humanitarian coordination systems.  * Demonstrated knowledge and experience on systems approach and practice, human-centered design, and solutions design in a humanitarian/relief and development context; Proven ability to create and execute organizational strategy that advances corporate values, vision, and purpose * Expertise in navigating competitive fundraising landscapes. Proven success in securing diverse funding streams—from institutional donors to private sector partnerships—and positioning the organization for long-term sustainability. * Demonstrated ability to build and sustain high-impact relationships across government, donors, civil society, and communities. Skilled in diplomacy, coalition-building, and leveraging networks to advance organizational goals * A go-getter with strong business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset. Capable of identifying opportunities, driving innovation, and delivering measurable impact in complex and resource-constrained environments * Inspirational leader who motivates and empowers staff through change and challenge.
