As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a vibrant cultural institution, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and regular patrols. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.56 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon12:00 AM - 08:00 AMTue12:00 AM - 08:00 AMWed12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any potential issues. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance as needed. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide reassurance for people on site. Communicate professionally and courteously with all individuals at the location, addressing concerns and/or questions as they arise. Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or concerns according to Allied Universal guidelines. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
