Bread, Beer and Brez’n (BB&B) is an authentic beer garden at the heart of Singapore (Phoenix Park & Killiney Road) that is popular for its wide range of German premium beers, wines and German culinary dishes. We are expanding and we are looking for friendly, motivated and ambitious members who can join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation Assistance: Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, cutting, and chopping vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients.
• Dishwashing and Cleaning:Responsible for washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils used in food preparation and service.
• Stocking and Inventory Management: Assist in stocking and organizing food and supplies in storage areas, also help in monitoring inventory levels, rotating stock, and notifying the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
• Assistance During Cooking: Support chef during food preparation by fetching ingredients, retrieving kitchen tools and equipment, and performing other tasks as directed.
• Kitchen Maintenance: Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment and appliances by cleaning and sanitizing them regularly and also report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Trash Disposal: Responsible for emptying trash bins and ensuring that waste is properly disposed of according to sanitation guidelines.
• Adherence to Health and Safety Standards: Follow health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices, personal hygiene, and sanitation procedures, to maintain a safe and hygienic working environment.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff members to ensure efficient teamwork and smooth kitchen operations.
• Flexibility and Adaptability: Should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be willing to perform various tasks as needed, including assisting in different kitchen stations during peak hours.
• Customer Service: Contribute to customer satisfaction by supporting the kitchen team in delivering high-quality food and service.

Requirements:

• A passion for food and cooking
• Team player
• Good time-management skills
• Ability to work varied hours/days, including weekends, and holidays, as needed
• At least 1 year experience in food preparation & cooking preferred
