Sales Manager - Hilton Boston Park Plaza
The is looking for their next Sales Manager.
Our hotel, located in Boston’s historic Back Bay, features 1,060 guestrooms and over 70,000 square feet of flexible, recently renovated function space—accommodating groups from 10 to 2,200. The hotel offers two elegant grand ballrooms and exceptional amenities, including Lynx Fitness Club, a 20,000-square-foot, award-winning luxury health club with Full Swing Golf Suites, as well as three distinctive in-house restaurants and lounges.
Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of hotel group sales processes, with the ability to convert group leads into confirmed bookings quickly and efficiently. They bring creativity and enthusiasm to showcasing the hotel to prospective group clients and have at least one year of experience in a group sales role or closely related experience.
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday 8:30AM – 5:00PM with ability to adjust days and times to accommodate meetings and events for client engagement.
Salary: Salaried role with a quarterly sales incentive plan that is uncapped.

Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Research, solicit and generate new leads for group opportunities through database research and proactive sales efforts, maximizing new room revenue streams, to meet and exceed lead generation goals.
• Represent the hotel in the development of market segment(s) and new customer relationships while maintaining existing relations with assigned accounts. Consistently strives to maximize revenue and profitability for all hotel revenue streams.
• Develop a business strategy by analyzing historical, current and future hotel and market trends, implementing marketing initiatives to capture the maximum amount of lead revenue to meet and exceed sales goals. This role requires strong sales, communication, and networking skills. The ability to demonstrate a deep understanding of customer needs and then apply a disciplined approach to qualify, negotiate and secure new revenue for the hotel.
• Customer and Account Management - Apply strong sales skills to create customer value. Differentiate Hilton from the competition and bring clear value to customers and the organizations they represent.
• Prospecting - Demonstrate a mastery of the prospecting process. Identify potential customers. Prepare and implement your call strategy.
• Negotiations - Understand the customer and the business leaders expectations. Adapt to a changing market

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Minimum Years of Experience: Minimum of one year of Hotel experience in guest contact areas. Previous sales experience preferred.
• Additional Requirements: Ability to travel on short notice and adaptable to schedule changes.
