Overview Nakupuna Prime is looking for a Business Requirements Analyst. The Business Requirements Analyst is responsible for eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and validating business and system requirements to support successful application development and implementation initiatives. This role serves as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure solutions align with strategic objectives, operational needs, and user expectations. Responsibilities The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic goals, operational challenges, and project objectives Lead requirements elicitation activities through interviews, workshops, document analysis, surveys, and facilitated sessions Identify, document, and validate business, functional, and non-functional requirements necessary to achieve application development project objectives Translate business needs into clear, structured, and actionable requirements documentation (e.g., BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, use cases, acceptance criteria) Analyze current-state business processes and define future-state workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness Facilitate requirements review sessions to ensure stakeholder alignment and approval Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle, from concept through testing and implementation Support solution design discussions to confirm alignment with approved requirements Collaborate with development, QA, and project management teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) planning and validation to ensure solutions meet documented requirements Manage requirement changes through structured change control processes Qualifications Skills/Qualifications: The candidate must be self-motivated, customer-focused, and capable of working in a fast-paced Department of Defense (DoD) environment Experience with identifying, documenting, and validating requirements necessary to achieve application development project objectives Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field Experience supporting users in a DoD or Federal Government environment preferred Certifications Requirements: None required.
