Description POSITION SUMMARY: The position is responsible for leading the Commingling Team as part of the mailing process. HOURS: 2nd Shift: 4:45PM to 3:00AM Monday to Friday and Saturday as needed. (May need to arrive before the start, or leave after the end, of the scheduled shift for set up or shut down purposes.) LOCATION: Itasca, Illinois KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure that the mailing is prepared in a timely fashion and properly staged for Commingle Execution. Monitors employee performance and provides feedback to address any issues related to work rule violations or performance deficiencies. Oversees the department in the absence of the Shift Supervisor. Collaborates with other Assistant Supervisor on the shift to meet production objectives. Work in alignment with the Supervisor to execute the mailings and ensure that processes are properly followed. Work with the Supervisor to execute the training program for Operations Personnel and verify employee capability and development. Support the management of Temporary Personnel and ensure that they are properly checked into the building, trained, and properly introduced to UBM Operations. Support the execution of an objective performance-based assessment program to facilitate the capability-based pay scale strategy. Communicate Performance Results, Identify Opportunities and Celebrate Successes. Conduct verification reviews of quality documentation and mailing paperwork to ensure the process is conducted properly and in alignment with established procedures and requirements. Provide guidance to team leads and shift employees regarding UBM policies, procedures and processes.
