A Typical Day: Provide personal care for clients, including bathing, showering, shampooing, oral hygiene, skin care, hair care, nail care, dressing, and shaving as needed. Assist clients with nutritional needs including serving, feeding, and providing proper fluid requirements. Assist with proper restorative care including range-of motion exercises, proper positioning, and ambulation. Encourage client independence and optimal level of functioning. Exercise standard precautions of infection control in all client care. Exchange client information with supervisor via communications binder. Launder clients’ personal items as needed. Maintain a pleasant, respectful, and courteous demeanor. Requirements What We Need In A Candidate: High school diploma or equivalent, preferred. Experience in all aspects of long-term care for the elderly required. Must be at least 18 years old.
