The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and analyzing geospatial data to support a wide range of projects. Job Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and update GIS databases, applications, and spatial datasets. Create detailed maps, figures, and spatial visualizations for reports and presentations. Perform spatial analyses to support planning and design activities for infrastructure and transportation projects. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company and client standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate GIS data with a variety of engineering or environmental datasets. Support field data collection efforts using GPS and mobile GIS technologies. Automate workflows and data processing using scripts or GIS tools (e.g., Python, ModelBuilder). Provide technical support, training, and guidance to team members on GIS tools and best practices. Qualifications College diploma in Geographic Information Systems or a bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geomatics, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in GIS analysis, database management, and mapping. Proficiency with Esri ArcGIS software (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise). Experience with spatial databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL/PostGIS). Knowledge of data management, cartography, and spatial analysis principles. Familiarity integrating GIS data and tools with other platforms including AutoCAD, InfoWater, HEC-RAS and other engineering modelling and design tools is an asset.
