Job Title: Cleaning Operative (Permanent, Part-Time)

Hours: 15 hours per week (3 days x 5 hours) 4pm - 7pm

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. This role involves maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across various areas of our site, including offices, corridors, toilets, staircases, and warehouse areas.
You will work as part of a friendly and supportive team, with training provided, including the use of the floor machine and cleaning procedures within a warehouse setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Vacuuming all carpeted areas and rugs
Mopping hard floors using appropriate equipment and products
Dusting and wiping down all surfaces
Sweeping internal areas, including corridors and warehouse floors
Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities to a high hygienic standard
Using a floor washing machine (full training will be provided)
Cleaning offices, corridors, staircases, and warehouse areas
Maintaining cleaning equipment in a clean and safe condition
Following health and safety guidelines and procedures
Report any issues or maintenance needs to the supervisor
Working effectively as part of a team to ensure all areas are completed on time
Person Specification:
Previous cleaning experience preferred – full training will be given
Good attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
Willingness to learn and follow health & safety procedures
Good communication and interpersonal skills
