Job Summary SLEEP IN STAFF (WOMEN ONLY ROLE)
Service: Zintarah Haven 18+ (Sutton) – Supporting Vulnerable Young Women Aged 18–25
Location: Sutton, South London (Applicants must live within 60 minutes travel of Sutton or Morden Underground Station)
Salary: £55 per sleep-in shift + £13 per hour if awake for more than one hour dealing with incidents (rare occurrence)
Working Pattern: 2–4 sleep-in nights per week (rota basis)

ABOUT THE ROLE

Zintarah Haven 18+ is a trauma-informed, culturally responsive supported accommodation home designed for care-experienced Black and Black mixed-heritage young women aged 18–25. We provide a safe, stable home and personalised support to build the resilience, independence, and life skills needed for a successful transition to adulthood.
We are now seeking reliable and compassionate Night Sleep-In Support Workers to join our team. You will provide a reassuring overnight presence, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents. While you will sleep during the night, you may occasionally need to respond to emergencies or incidents, for which additional pay will be provided if this exceeds one hour.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain a safe and supportive environment overnight.
• Be available to respond calmly to incidents, safeguarding concerns, or resident needs.
• Complete accurate handover notes and records for day staff.
• Provide reassurance and emotional support if young women require it overnight.
• Uphold safeguarding policies and professional boundaries at all times.
• Work collaboratively with the wider staff team to ensure continuity of care.
