What does a Category Advisor do at Swire Coca-Cola?
At Swire Coca-Cola, strategic decision-making is powered by data-driven insights. As a Category Advisor, you will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for a designated customer or channel, applying a broad range of data sources—including internal performance metrics, customer insights, syndicated data such as Circana/Nielsen, and third-party analytics—to guide category strategy and execution. This role is responsible for leading comprehensive category analysis that informs business planning, promotional effectiveness, and customer engagement. You will play a key role in shaping and communicating performance narratives, supporting cross-functional initiatives, and fostering a culture of analytical excellence across the organization.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 2+ years’ Experience category management required
• 2+ years Space planning required
• 4+ years Analytical experience required
• 4+ years’ experience as a Category Manager in the beverage industry required
• Experience in Circana/Nielsen syndicated data required
• Certified Professional Category Manager, current or expired, preferred

• Lead all category analysis (as the dedicated SME) for respective customers to best position Swire brands to drive category growth
• Collaborate with customer leads to develop category strategies and reporting to measure the effectiveness of those strategies
• Assist with training on “best in class” category analysis standards in order to elevate the team’s capabilities
• Maintain an organized repository of category analysis work to preserve category knowledge
• Category analysis related to: customer scorecards, top to top prep, holiday recaps, promotional analysis, annual planning support, and other relevant work
• Build and present analysis of customer performance to internal and external stakeholders
