The Role As a Retirement Analyst for Consulting supports the delivery of quality Retirement solutions covering plan valuations, design & review including plan conversions, plan administration, and other retirement benefit services. The Retirement Specialist may also get involved in insurance, health, and other risk projects requiring actuarial support. Performance Objectives: Excellence: Provides assistance to the Project Managers and Consultant/Senior Consultant in the following areas: Data preparation, validation & reconciliation Assumption setting Actuarial valuation of retirement plans, including the use of WTW standard valuation software. Analysis of valuation results Plan benchmarking, design, and costing Retirement plan set-up, review, and harmonization Benefit projections and individual benefit calculations Other projects requiring actuarial skills (other employee benefits, insurance, HMO, etc.) Prepares the following reports: Actuarial valuation reports for local funding and accounting standards (local and international) purposes Comparative plan summaries upon request of clients Drafting of plan rules Presentation and sales materials Assists the Project Manager/Consultant/Senior Consultant in the presentation of results.
