JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a dynamic career oriented individual to join our team. Experience in a retail setting and an interest in health related information and products is necessary for this position.
It involves providing of medical surgical supplies and assisting customers with the purchase of these supplies. Sounds simple, but it requires extensive on the job training and mentoring.
Medical supplies includes the following: incontinence, wound care, ostomy products, compression stockings, ambulatory products, orthopedic supports, wound care products, bathroom safety equipment and post mastectomy products.
REQUIREMENTS
Need to have been recently employed.
Proven recent retail experience in a retail setting. Retail experience means you worked in a retail store, providing excellent customer service and assisted customers in the purchase of products. In addition to handling and resolving customer complaints and concerns.
Experience in the healthcare field would be an asset.
Understand how to manage inventory, receive stock and merchandise product in a retail setting.
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
Behave in a polished, professional manner.
A customer-centric approach with a focus on building long-term relationships.
Proficient computer skills and experience with POS systems.
Excellent phone etiquette for effective communication with clients over the phone.
Must be able to lift boxes that are 20 pound or more.
Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. You will be expected to drive the company van to an off sight warehouse and to facility appointments.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities
You will be assisting customers in the purchase and proper use of medical supplies.
You will be administering third party government plans. These plans are complex and you will be expected to learn and apply this knowledge everyday.
You will manage inventory, receive stock, merchandise these products and order products as needed.
Have an ability to effectively deal with customers and their medical needs. Our customers are typically dealing with medical conditions, so the ability to be compassionate and understanding is an asset.
You will be expected to accurately fit customers with compression garments, orthopedic bracing and post mastectomy products.
You will be expected to accurately process customer orders for medical supplies and arrange for delivery or pick up of these products.
