Acting as the second-in-command to the General Manager, you will step in to lead the hotel in their absence. Your Day to Day In this role, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring the right people are in place to deliver seamless service. A strong focus will be on developing your team through coaching, regular feedback, and clear performance goals, while recognising and celebrating success. You will ensure all colleagues are trained, compliant, and equipped to meet InterContinental brand standards. Collaboration will be key, as you work closely with all departments to ensure smooth operations and a consistent guest experience. You will also take an active role in managing guest feedback, resolving concerns, and building relationships that support continuous improvement in guest satisfaction. From a commercial perspective, you will support the General Manager with budgeting, forecasting, and the delivery of financial and operational plans. You will monitor costs, manage labour productivity, and ensure payroll efficiency through effective planning. Using guest insights and performance data, you will implement strategies to drive results while maintaining exceptional luxury service standards.
