RECEPTION MANAGER – CENTRAL LONDON BOUTIQUE HOTEL
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Reception Manager to join our vibrant team in a beautifully appointed 72-bedroom boutique hotel in Central London.
Exciting times are ahead – we’re undergoing a full refurbishment. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new chapter for our hotel. Experience in managing front office operations during refurbishments will be a strong advantage.
This role requires a manager who is fully engaged on the floor, working alongside the team, and taking real ownership of training and development. This is not a desk-based role. If you are not motivated by coaching and leading from the front, this position will not be the right fit.
We are also looking for someone who is flexible and adaptable, with the willingness to step in and cover shifts as needed. Being available to support your team when operations require it is a key part of this position.
REQUIREMENTS
As Reception Manager, you will lead the Front Office team, and act as a key figure in creating smooth, welcoming guest experiences. You will report to the Rooms Division Manager and collaborate closely with other departments to ensure operational excellence.
A high priority for this role will be training and mentoring the reception team. Our newly promoted Rooms Division Manager has identified a need for structured guidance and support across the department. The successful candidate must be someone who takes pride in building team confidence, addressing skill gaps, and nurturing a strong service culture.
The reception area also includes a small bar, which falls under your supervision as part of daily operations.
