Job Description The Paymaster/Plant HR Generalist will assist in the execution of staffing, payroll, performance management, employee development, training and succession planning. This hands-on position is responsible for driving the implementation of HR processes and initiatives. This position will require you to work on-site at the Lapel, IN plant. The Paymaster/Plant HR Generalist will: Train and monitor work accuracy of Payroll/HR responsibilities with managers Maintain and reconcile all hourly payroll files and data for the plant, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements Process weekly plant hourly payroll, including balancing general ledger interfaces and preparing regular and special payroll reports Assist in the administration of employee benefit and compensation programs and other HR company initiatives as required Partner with Plant HR Manager for disability processing, relocation coordination, HR requisition and PAF process, maintaining employee files and performance plan tracking and record keeping The Paymaster/Plant HR Generalist should: Be a positive and pro-active company and employee advocate Professional demeanor and ability communicate with all levels within the organization Have experience processing complex hourly payroll in a fast-paced environment Be able to assist in the execution of labor and employee relations activities that drive productivity and efficiency.
