Role Purpose
n
The purpose of the Power Platform Developer is to design, develop, and deploy customised Power Platform solutions tailored to client and business needs. The role involves creating and managing end-to-end solutions across Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Copilot Studio and Dataverse, integrating with Azure services and Function Apps, and applying modern application lifecycle management (ALM) through Azure DevOps, Power Platform Pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tooling such as Terraform to streamline business processes and enable informed decision-making.

The developer will collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and deliver high-quality, well-governed solutions. Additionally, the role includes maintaining comprehensive documentation, providing support and training to users, and staying updated on the latest Microsoft Business Applications and AI technologies to proactively recommend enhancements and innovations.

Role and Responsibilities
n

- Design, develop, and deploy customised Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Pages and model-driven apps on Dataverse) tailored to client and business needs, with Microsoft Dynamics 365 where applicable.
n
- Create and manage end-to-end Power Platform solutions, integrating Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Copilot Studio, AI Builder, custom connectors and Azure Function Apps.
n
- Develop and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline business processes.
n
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and deliver high-quality solutions.
n
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of solutions, ensuring compliance with best practices and quality standards.
n
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of solution designs, configurations, and processes.
n
- Provide support and training to users and technical teams on Power Platform and Dynamics 365 applications.
n
- Stay updated on the latest Microsoft Business Applications technologies, proactively recommending enhancements and innovations.
n
- Oversee solution deployments across Development, UAT and Production environments, using managed environments, Power Platform Pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) to enforce governance, security and repeatable releases.
n
- Solution design documents for Power Platform and Microsoft Dynamics 365
n
- Custom-built Power Platform applications and integrated components (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Copilot Studio, Power BI) and Dynamics 365 where applicable
n
- Automated workflows to streamline business processes
n
- End-to-end integration with external systems and services
n
- Comprehensive testing plans, results, and quality assurance documentation
n
- Stakeholder requirements gathering,
solution demos, and ongoing collaboration
n
- User guides, training materials, and technical documentation
n
- Deployment plans, environment setup, and release management (managed environments, Power Platform Pipelines and Terraform-based infrastructure-as-code)
n
- Support documentation, enhancement backlogs, and innovation recommendations
n

Skills, Qualifications & Experience
n
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
n
n
- Microsoft Certification in Power Platform and/or Business Applications (e.g. PL-400, PL-600, Power Platform, Power Automate, Dynamics 365, and/or Power BI).
n
- Proven experience (typically 3–5 years) developing and deploying Power Platform solutions, with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Dataverse experience highly regarded.
n
- Strong proficiency in Power Automate and Dataverse, including creating complex workflows, custom connectors and automation.
n
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), ALM and Agile methodologies.
n
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
n
- Robust ability to engage stakeholders, translate complex technical concepts, and collaborate effectively.
n

Preferred Qualifications:
n
n
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
n
- Additional certifications within the broader Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, Power Platform or Security).
n
- Experience with Azure integration, Copilot Studio / AI Builder, and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.
n
- Exposure to industry-specific implementations (e.g., finance, healthcare, government).
n
- Knowledge of PCF (PowerApps Component Framework) is a plus.
