We have a fantastic opportunity available for a motivated Civic Space Maintenance Team Member to join our Civic Services Department at Strathfield Council.
You will be responsible for completing tasks relating to the Civic Maintenance Team and assisting in enforcing a range of regulations and legislation to improve the amenities and facilities of Strathfield’s Local Government Area.
You will be joining a supportive team environment under the guidance of an experienced Civic Space Maintenance Coordinator. You will be required to provide routine inspections and identification of maintenance requirements, enforce relevant legislation and improve the safety, amenity, appearance and accessibility of Council’s parks, open spaces and facilities.
As the successful candidate, you must have proven capacity to work in a team environment and have a level of physical fitness to carry out the demands of the role. You will have organisational and planning skills and be able to identify and implement creative solutions. This position requires a current MR driver’s license.
