We have opportunities in the Central Queensland Coast for Civil Safety Officers interested in joining us and capable of committing to the following assignments for a period of approximately 6-12 months with a possibility of ongoing extensions and other projects.
A history of prior ‘hands on’, civil roads construction and roads maintenance project experience is required as well as a full understanding of the daily challenges of the physical requirements of the projects are a major consideration to develop, maintain and implement a co-operative safety culture and initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Certificate 1V in OHS or a Diploma in OHS
Current Construction Industry Generic Induction Card
Current First Aid certificate
Auditor training and/or qualifications desirable
The proposed hours are 45 per week, however longer hours & weekend work may be required to suit work load. The roles are Central Queensland Coast based and preference would be given to someone who is prepared to relocate for the duration of the project, however, we may consider a FIFO roster.
You must have: the right to work in Australia, with well-developed interpersonal and consultative skills and a current drivers licence.
