ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to join our team. In this key leadership role, you will report directly to the General Manager, Touring Operations and oversee the day-to-day operations of our Touring division. Your primary focus will be driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer service standards while supporting our on-road crew. Ideally based in our Albury, NSW office with other locations considered. Some travel required from time-time is required. Key responsibilities include: Plan and manage staffing requirements for the touring division, aligning resource allocation with business needs. Design and deliver training programs for touring staff at the start of each season and as needed throughout the year. Manage operational plans for the touring division, ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest experiences while meeting financial objectives and performance targets. Oversee the delivery of all promoted inclusions in support of the touring program, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and business goals. Foster a high-performance culture by delegating tasks, mentoring, and managing the performance of our on-road crew to ensure operational excellence. Ensure the efficient use of touring assets, including managing compliance documentation and operational resources. Effectively manage costs, ensuring that touring-related expenses—such as operational and guest experience costs—align with the annual budget. Ensure timely reporting and management of safety incidents and adverse events, prioritising the wellbeing of both staff and guests. ABOUT YOU: You will have a deep understanding of the travel industry, with previous experience in an operations management position. You will possess a collaborative working style, be highly organised, and be detail-oriented. There will be a strong emphasis on continuous improvement to ensure and maintain the highest quality and distinctive Outback Spirit service, fostering an engaged, skilled, and motivated team. Requirements: Previous Touring experience is highly desirable. Extensive experience in management, operations, business, or hospitality, with a proven track record of success.
