The position involves working closely alongside the new Director of Newborn Research at the Mercy Hospital for Women, Prof. Brett Manley, and a dedicated and enthusiastic team of doctors, nurses and allied health professionals undertaking clinical research. You will be responsible for: Engagement with families in the NICU and on the antenatal and postnatal wards Seeking consent from families for their newborn infant to participate in clinical trials Close collaboration with onsite and offsite (interstate or international) trial leads and multidisciplinary teams Undertaking randomisation Maintaining screening logs Accurate and complete data entry and data management Working across more than one clinical trial at a time, and assisting with additional studies as required, with flexibility All must be in keeping with Good Clinical Practice.
