Your Opportunity

In this role as the Administration Officer (Waste), you will have the opportunity to support the efficient operation of the Communities, Planning & Environmental Services Directorate by performing a wide variety of administrative functions and activities and excellent customer service relating to Waste, Environment, Health and Local Laws functions. You will also have operational responsibility for all waste administration and will be assisting with environmental health and local laws administration, requiring sound judgement, initiative, confidentiality and sensitivity in performance of work.

STATUS: Temporary, Part-time – up to 17 March 2028

HOURS of WORK: 34 hours per fortnight | 4-day fortnight. Days worked may be negotiated with successful candidate.

PAY LEVEL: $39.54 - $42.11 per hour (Level 2). Plus 12% Superannuation and 17.5% Annual Leave Loading in accordance with Council’s Enterprise Agreement and the relevant Award. Pay rate dependant on relevant skills and experience.

EMPLOYMENT BASE: Warwick, Queensland
