Position summary
Downer’s Roads business is one of the largest non-government owned road services business in Australia. We operate from a network of over 50 depots and maintain more than 40,000 kms of road. Our WA Business is involved in many exciting ventures within the civil road industry throughout the country.
Committed to the development of its people, Downer is now adding to the strength of its team. Reporting to the WA State Manager we are seeking an experienced Senior Administrator with a background in the construction industry. You will be responsible for a variety of frequent, project and ad-hoc administration duties.
Ideally, you will have at least three to five years of administration exposure across; Construction, Industrial, Infrastructure or Civil Engineering sectors. A strong understanding of safety practices and administration will be desirable.
You will have previous experience in business or site administration coupled with qualifications in Business Administration or related Studies.
Experience in efficient and accurate processing of documentation and data entry
Intermediate proficiency across MS Applications (Word\ Excel\Powerpoint)
Superior organisational skills and time management
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
Be able to be flexible, meet strict deadlines and prioritise tasks
Exhibit a high level of discipline; show initiative and have a proactive mindset
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal staff and ensure a high level of quality service
Results oriented including the ability to meet deadlines and changes in priorities in order to achieve required service levels
Strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate information quickly, identifying issues and formulate conclusions based on good judgement, experience and common sense
Previous experience with JDE and Matrix would be highly regarded
