Role Overview

We are seeking experienced Network Engineers to design, implement, and support next-generation networking solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Segment Routing over IPv6 (SRv6), IPv6 technologies, routing protocols, and enterprise network operations. The role involves collaborating with architecture, operations, and delivery teams to build scalable, resilient, and high-performing network infrastructures.

Role: Network Engineer- SPV6/ IPV6

Location: Sydney / Melbourne

Open for – FTC 6 or 12 months

  • Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, configure, and support Segment Routing over IPv6 (SRv6) solutions for enterprise service delivery and order fulfillment requirements.
  • Implement, optimize, and maintain IPv6-based network services and advanced routing technologies across enterprise environments.
  • Configure, validate, and troubleshoot routing protocols and network services to ensure reliable, scalable, and high-performance operations.
  • Translate business and operational requirements into technical network designs and configurations.
  • Support network deployment, integration, testing, commissioning, and performance optimization activities.
  • Diagnose and resolve routing, forwarding, and service-related issues within production environments.
  • Collaborate with network architects, operations teams, and delivery stakeholders to execute network transformation and modernization initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, standard operating procedures, and operational runbooks.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security policies, and industry best practices.
  • Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
  • Required Skills & ExperienceStrong hands-on experience with IPv6 networking and SRv6 technologies.
  • Expertise in routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, and MPLS.
  • Experience designing and troubleshooting large-scale enterprise or service provider networks.
  • Strong understanding of network architecture, routing, forwarding, and traffic engineering concepts.
  • Experience with network monitoring, diagnostics, and performance optimization tools.
  • Familiarity with network automation and scripting tools is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, JNCIE, or equivalent.
  • Experience with network transformation, SDN, network automation, or cloud networking environments.
