We’re thrilled to announce a fantastic new opportunity to join our team at Village Vets Coolock! As we open the doors to our newly refurbished clinic, we’re looking for a Front of House Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our veterinary practice.
If you’re friendly, organised, and passionate about delivering excellent customer care, we’d love to hear from you. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our clients and their pets receive a warm and professional experience from the moment they walk through our doors.

Our Coolock branch joined as a proud member of the Village Vets family in 2016 and is situated inside the Maxi Zoo pet shop. We have two consulting rooms, separate dog and cat wards, a surgical theatre, diagnostic facilities including an x-ray room, and a dental room. We have a light and comfortable reception area, and we’re passionate about fear-free techniques to help make every one of our patients’ visits to see us as comfortable as possible. We are conveniently located on the Malahide Road industrial park
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player who will be leading the front of house team who are the first point of contact for visitors at the clinic and would also have an interest in learning about animal care with the goal of progressing their career.

Responsibilities

  • Greet all visitors and welcome them to the clinic.
  • Answer and direct phone calls.
  • Schedule appointments.
  • Checking in patients.
  • Collecting payments.
  • Maintain records as necessary .
  • Manage the receptionist area and assist with admin tasks as needed.
  • Assist Vet nurses and Vets with patient care when necessary.
  • Undertaking additional tasks as may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or relevant work experience.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • 3 or more years of front of house experience.
