The IT Specialist ensures the efficient, secure, and reliable operation of the company’s technology environment. This role provides day‑to‑day technical support, maintains critical systems and infrastructure, and partners with business teams to ensure technology supports operational needs and organizational growth. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, strong problem‑solving skills, customer‑oriented communication, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment. What You Will Do Ensure the availability, reliability, and smooth operation of critical hotel systems, including PMS, POS, HSIA, PABX, Call Accounting, and related platforms. Provide day‑to‑day systems administration support, including user account setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and documentation maintenance. Assist in managing server infrastructure, network performance, OS upgrades, system backups, and recovery procedures. Promote and ensure adherence to Four Seasons IT Core Standards and technology guidelines. Support desktop systems, operating systems, productivity software, system patches, and security tools. Deliver high‑quality technical support to internal users and guests, including meeting rooms, conference technologies, and event support. Assist in managing system security measures, including firewall management, VPN connectivity, antivirus tools, and network protection protocols. Support the coordination and rollout of new technology initiatives, upgrades, and corporate IT projects. Assist with vendor relations, third‑party support, and management of maintenance contracts. Provide 24/7 on‑call support for mission‑critical systems on a rotating basis. Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Rooms, F&B, Spa, and other departments to ensure technology solutions align with business needs. Maintain strong, professional working relationships with department leaders, Corporate IT, and Regional IT teams. Perform additional duties assigned by the Director of IT or Director of Finance. What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. At least 2–3 years of experience in a similar IT support or systems administration role in hotels or resorts Strong understanding of networks, operating systems, hardware, and IT infrastructure. Experience with: Windows and/or macOS environments Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and related tools Network troubleshooting (LAN/WAN/Wi Fi) IT security principles Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to support users at all levels.
