The Senior Business Consultant will assist business units to improve efficiency of operations, deliver effective customer services and support the achievement of organisational goals through reviewing business streams, systems and processes, making recommendations, and implementing and evaluating business improvement projects. It is preferred that the successful candidate will: Hands on functional expertise in SAP HCM Payroll (PY), including configuration, testing, and payroll cycles within a complex, high volume payroll environment. Working knowledge of integration points between the various HR modules and HR/Payroll and FI/CO. Experience supporting government or large enterprise HR and Payroll operations, with an understanding of compliance obligations, and policy driven business rules. Demonstrated capability in incident management, payroll corrections, enhancements, and continuous improvement, ensuring business continuity during critical payroll timelines. Proven ability to translate business, legislative, and operational requirements into effective SAP Payroll solutions. Ability to work collaboratively with HR, Payroll Operations, Finance, Technical teams, and external vendor consultants to design, configure, and deliver effective SAP Payroll outcomes.
