You’ll also have the opportunity to build strong relationships across the Faculty and contribute to continuous improvement in laboratory safety In this role, you will: Support improvements to chemical safety practices across FMHS, including purchase, storage, use and disposal of chemicals Liaise with facility users to arrange appropriate storage or disposal of materials, substances, equipment and samples Maintain assigned facilities to a high standard, ensuring ongoing functionality and regulatory compliance Provide advice, guidance and training to staff and students on chemical safety requirements Advise on risk assessments and contribute to the development of safe working methods and laboratory safety improvements This is a fulltime fixed term (12 months) opportunity.
