Cable Top Eatery is a well-established café located at the top of the Cable Car in Kelburn, Wellington. We are open 7 days a week (Sunday–Tuesday 8am–4pm, Wednesday–Saturday 8am–8pm) serving breakfast, lunch, handmade pizzas, tapas & dinner.
We also host a variety of private events, offering menus that include canapés, platters, buffets, and more.
About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Chef to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to grow their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Requirements:
Applicants must hold either New Zealand citizenship or a valid work visa - we are not currently able to sponsor -
Minimum 4 years’ industry experience
Level 4 Cookery Qualification or equivalent experience
Ability to lead a team of up to 7 staff during peak summer but able to adapt to some sole charge shifts during winter months
Strong teamwork skills and confidence in a leadership role
Must work well under pressure and maintain high standards
