EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION

  • Tertiary qualification(s) in the fields of Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management and any other related field is a pre-requisite.

EXPERIENCE

  • Preference will be given to those with strong knowledge/experience in HVAC, Pumps, Metering / Instrumentation / Controls and Chillers / Heat Exchangers. Building automation and computer engineering software / hardware background would be added advantage.

Responsibilities

SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor energy and water consumption and usage trends for various areas of the property.
  • Evaluate energy/water use and identify areas of wastages or inefficient usage.
  • Develop, plan and implement energy & water management programs/projects.
  • Continuous and sustainable improvements in energy/water usage efficiency.
  • Reductions in energy & water costs.
  • Managers must have the maturity, experience, competency and be capable of discharging expectations of the Job Responsibilities
  • Perform all duties in accordance with the policies of MBS and directives of parent company LVSC.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Track, verify, analyze and report energy/water consumptions across the property.
  • Prepare periodic reports detailing energy and water consumption usage against targets.
  • Prepare annual energy/water usage budgets and monitor budget performance with reports.
  • Setting targets for energy /water consumption reductions to meet corporate targets.
  • Establish energy/water consumption benchmarks against best practices guidelines.
  • Establish methodology to accurately incorporate specific energy/water consumption of various services or activities of the organization.
  • Improve disaggregating of energy/water consumption data down to system level.
  • Identify, develop, plan and execute energy/water efficiency and conservation projects to enable MBS to achieve its energy/water reduction targets.
  • Prepare and submit documentation for new projects, including project descriptions, costs, and justifications with energy savings/ROI.
  • Track and verify on energy & water savings derived from such projects. Review results and establish further action plans.
  • Provide regular on-going energy consumption updates to stakeholders.
  • Share good news stories for internal and external communications.
  • Develop promotional outreach activities and materials to publicize particular schemes.
  • Deliver Training workshops and awareness programs to bring about cultural change across organization.
  • Provide specialist energy management and related practical advice to various stakeholders.
  • Lead continuous/regular site audit inspections to identify areas where energy is wasted to develop conservation measures (architectural, mechanical, electrical, etc.)
