ABOUT THIS ROLE

St. Michael’s is hiring a Mission Assurance Support Analyst to support a Department of Defense (DoD) client. As the Mission Assurance Support Analyst, you will coordinate with SOCNORTH leadership to align mission assurance activities with organizational goals and priorities. Our core value of Teamwork will be paramount to this role as you will facilitate communication and information sharing among SOCNORTH staff and external partners regarding mission assurance activities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate with SOCNORTH leadership to align mission assurance activities with organizational goals and priorities.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats to mission continuity.
• Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address identified risks.
• Support the implementation of risk management best practices and frameworks in line with DoD, USSOCOM, and USNORTHCOM policies and directives.
• Work closely with SOCNORTH directorates, interagency partners, and external stakeholders to ensure a unified approach to mission assurance.
• Facilitate communication and information sharing among SOCNORTH staff and external partners regarding mission assurance activities.
• Develop and deliver mission assurance training programs for SOCNORTH personnel.
• Plan and execute mission assurance exercises to test and validate plans, procedures, and capabilities.
• Evaluate exercise outcomes and implement lessons learned to improve mission assurance processes.
• Ensure compliance with DoD, USSOCOM, USNORTHCOM, and SOCNORTH mission assurance policies and standards.
• Develop and update SOCNORTH mission assurance policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Conduct audits and assessments to ensure adherence to mission assurance standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on mission assurance activities, risk assessments, and program status to SOCNORTH leadership.
• Maintain comprehensive records of mission assurance activities, including risk assessments, mitigation plans, and exercise outcomes.
