JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Civil Draftsman with a proven track record in contracting companies within the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings and as-built documentation for infrastructure and building projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UAE regulations and project specifications.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Civil Draftsman in the UAE, particularly in contracting companies.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office; knowledge of Revit is an advantage.
• Familiar with UAE construction regulations, authority approval processes, and local drafting standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple drawing revisions and deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Prepare accurate 2D and 3D civil drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software (e.g., Civil 3D, Revit).
• Interpret architectural and structural plans to create civil shop drawings for execution on-site.
• Develop layout drawings, section views, and detailed drawings for foundations, slab works, utilities, roads, and structural elements.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other disciplines to ensure design intent and accuracy.
• Prepare and revise as-built drawings based on site modifications and redlines.
• Ensure all drawings are compliant with local authorities (e.g., Dubai Municipality, ADM, RTA, etc.) and company standards.
• Maintain drawing registers, documentation, and proper filing of drawings (soft and hard copies).
• Support site teams by providing updated drawings, resolving discrepancies, and assisting in measurement take-offs when required.
• Communicate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, and clients for drawing clarification and approvals.
