An der Fakultät für Verfahren- und Systemtechnik ist am Institut für Strömungstechnik und Thermodynamik eine Stelle als
Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiterin (m/w/d) auf den Gebieten der Thermodynamik und Wärmelehre
zu besetzen.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Planning and designing of experimental setups to enable measurements for the analysis of heat transfer processes
• Implementation of cutting-edge optical and laser diagnostics as well as the performance of temperature and flow measurements
• Processing and interpretation of the experimental data
• Documentation of the results, preparation of project reports and publications
• Cooperation and continuous exchange with the team
• To assist in teaching and carrying out exercises in thermodynamics (4 SWS)
• Pursuing a PhD / Habilitation

REQUIREMENTS PROFILE:

• Above-average MSc degree or equivalent in engineering or physics; the position is also suited for postdocs
• Fundamental knowledge of thermodynamics and fluid mechanics
• Interest or first experience in experimental work especially optical and laser diagnostics
• Basic coding skills and image processing experience are desirable
• Interest in attending international conferences
